Double Pipe Design - True double pipe exchangers are available with either a bare of finned inner tube. As with all Alcotwins, flanges are thru-bolted, not studded. Tube connection options include: weld-end, flanged, or Gray-Loc®/REFLANGE for high pressure service.

Multi-Tube Heavy Duty Closure - The Alcotwin Heavy Duty closure offers both the economy of a single thru bolted closure, and the maintenance advantages of a separated head. The center flange keeps the shell gasket seated during the removal of the tube head for inspection or service. The shell side can be tested for leaking tubes or tube-to-tubesheet joints without the use of special test fixtures.

Multi-Tube Severe Service Closure - The Alcotwin severe service closure employs the industry's most widely used separated head features. Completely separated shell side and tube side bolting makes this design ideal for applications which involve wide temperature differences between the shell and the tube fluids and high pressures.

Rod-Thru Closure - Alcotwins are available with straight tubes and packed shell cover closures. This is ideal for tube side fouling services which require mechanical cleaning
